9.7 - ELECTRIC HEATING SAFETY

• Units with electric heating are equipped with an automatic-reset and a manual-reset safety
thermostat.

• The later operates in case of excessively low or non-existent air fl ow.
Possible causes:
- faulty fan motor,

- turbine blocked or strained,
- clogged fi lter,
- heat exchanger clogged,

- air inlet or outlets obstructed.
• Correct the fault then reset the safety thermostat as follows:

- turn off and lock out the unit's power supply,
- remove the / grille (see paragraph 9.5),
- remove the condensate tank (see removal in paragraph 9.5),
- the safety thermostats are located on a support against the exchanger's sheeting, on the turbine side,
- press the button in the center of the manual thermostat.
9.8 - FUSE
• A fuse (F1) located on the printed circuit board protects the unit's circuitry (see electrical diagram).
- Rating : 4 A - 250 V.
- Type : F - High breaking capacity.
- Size : 5 x 20.
