3. Cabling and setup

3.1 Package Contents

Unpack the package and check all the items carefully. Also, keep the box and
packing materials in case you need to ship the unit in the future. The package
should contain the following items:
 1 x NetMaster G5(8)D
 1 x External power supply (7.5V, 1A)
 4 x Rubber footpads for Desk-mount
 1 x Multilanguage Manual (English, Italian and Francais)
If any item is found missing or damaged, please contact your local reseller for
replacement.

3.2 Setup

The setup of the Switch can be performed using the following steps:
 Make sure that there is proper heat dissipation from and adequate
ventilation around the Switch
 Do not place heavy objects on the Switch.

Visually inspect the DC power jack and make sure that it is fully secured
to the power adapter.

3.3 Desktop installation

When installing the Switch on a desktop or shelf, the rubber feet included with the
device must be first attached. Attach these cushioning feet on the bottom at each
corner of the device. Allow enough ventilation space between the device and the
objects around it.

3.4 Wall mounting

Thanks to its predisposition, NetMaster G5(8)D also supports a wall mouting
installation.
