damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, lamp explosion, crash etc.
The device should not be installed in areas where persons may walk by or be seated. If UV-lamps are to be
installed in public areas, then devices with a protective grille must be used.
INSTALLATION

Installing/Replacing the lamp

Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's
notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
For the installation, you need one 230 V/160 W E-27 UV lamp.
During the operation, the lamp reaches temperatures of up to 600° C.
Procedure:
Step 1: Unscrew the fixation screws of the protective grid.
Step 2: Remove the protective grid.
Step 3: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp-socket.
Step 4: Insert the E-40/400 W HQV-400 UV lamp into the lamp-socket.
Step 5: Replace the protective grid and tighten the screws.
Rigging
Please consider the EN 60598-2-17 and the respective national norms during the
installation! The installation must only be carried out by an authorized dealer!

Only install the lamp with the device switched off!
Unplug from mains before!
CAUTION!
The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged
or deformed due to the heat!
Do not operate this device with opened protective grid!
