Assembly of logsplitter
Unpack the log splitter carefully with the
assistance of another person.
Locate the handle in the box and fasten it to
the socket for handle, fasten it well.
Place the safety shield on the plate with
2 discs and 2 nuts, and tighten safely.
Now the log splitter is ready for use.

Clothing

When working with the machine wear
tight clothing, gloves, ear protection and boots
with non-skid soles.

Operation and adjustment possibilities

Please refer to Figure 1 when you follow these instructions.
1. Plan your work site. Work safely and save efforts by planning your work
beforehand. Place the logs where they can be easily reached. Choose a site where
you can stack the split wood or load it onto a nearby truck or other carrier.
2. Prepare the logs for splitting. This log splitter splits wood in the length of 520 mm
and a diameter of 50-350 mm. When you split larger pieces do not split logs longer
than the shown size. Never attempt to split fresh green logs. Dry logs are a lot eas-
ier to split and will not jam as frequently as green logs would.
4. Route the power cord. Locate an appropriate power outlet, and secure an ade-
quate extension cord if necessary. Route the cord from the splitter to the power
source in a route that safeguards the cord and ensures that the cord will not be-
come damaged or wet during the work session.
