9. Setup and installation

a) Choosing a setup location
The position of the device affects the angle of view.
Always consider the camera angle when choosing the
setup location. This determines the field of view. Test
the field of view before mounting the camera. The cam-
era can take wide-angle images with a field of view of
110°. Refer to the "Technical Data" section for further
details. The lens has a focal length of 2.8 mm.
Make sure there is a suitable power outlet nearby and
that the USB cable is long enough.
Check that the device is within range of your Wi-Fi
access point. Other 2.4 GHz products such as other
wireless networks, Bluetooth systems and microwave
ovens may cause interference.
Do not attempt mount the camera upside down.
b) Installation
• Use the adhesive tape provided to secure the device to a flat
surface, e.g. a desk or shelf.
The adhesive tape is not reusable.
