OPERATION
WARNING! Before connecting to the mains
supply, always check the switch is in the off
position!
EXTENSION CORD RESTRAINT (I)
We recommend using your mower as outlined in
this section to achieve optimum results and to re-
duce the risk of cutting the mains cable. Place the
bulk of the mains cable on the lawn, close to the
starting point. Feed the cable through the cable
restraint (3).
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT (K)
This electric lawn mower is equipped with a 6-po-
sition height adjustment system to tailor grass
cutting heights of 20 to70mm. To obtain your de-
sired cutting height, the front and rear axles are
repositioned on the underside of the lawnmower
body. Adjust using the height adjuster handle (19)
to the desired height.
STARTING THE MOTOR
1. Plug the machine into the electric supply, ensur-
ing it meets the recommended requirements.
Electrical power should be supplied via a residual
current device (RCD) with a tripping current of
not more than 30 mA.
2. Before starting the lawn mower, hold the handle
assembly with both hands and tilt the handle
downward to slightly raise the front of the lawn
mower (G). This will reduce the risk of lawn dam-
age during start-up.
3. Press and hold the safety button (4) of the switch
assembly while pulling the on/off switch lever (1)
towards you. Once the machine powers on, re-
lease the safety lock button (4) (J).
4. Let the motor get up to speed, gently lowering
the lawn mower down into the cutting position
and start mowing (H).
STOPPING THE MOTOR
To stop the mower, release the on/off switch lever
and it automatically returns to its off position.
GRASS COLLECTION BAG VOLUME INDICATOR (L)
1. If the grass collection bag is empty or is not com-
pletely full with grass, the grass indicator flap
will remain open (l1) (due to the flow of air) or
will flutter open and close as the grass accumu-
lates in the bag.
