It is not allowed to reduce the width of the

out prior formal authorization from Dhollandia.
§5.2 - Fixation of the mounting plates to the vehicle chas-
sis
•
Adjust the position of the mounting plates to the width of
the vehicle chassis.
•
Straighten the mounting plates, and make sure they stand
perpendicular to the lift frame. [See Fig. 5.6]. Tag-weld the
mounting plates to the HTL frame to hold them into posi-
tion during the initial mounting tests.
•
Follow the instructions below regarding the quantity of
mounting bolts, their size and position.
•
Position the mounting plates and bolts with due
diligence. Negligence could lead to overload
situations, damage to the HTL or vehicle chassis,
non-conformity with the bumper bar certificates,
and refusal at the vehicle inspection.
•
Apply an equal spread of all mounting bolts over the full
surface of the mounting plates. [See dimension X on Fig.
5.7].
•
If the mounting plates interfere with the subframe or cross-
bearers of the vehicle body, they can be shortened in
height, but with respect for the minimum requirements for
the bolts [see Fig. 5.7].
•
Verify that the HTL frame is correctly centred under the
vehicle chassis and body. [see Fig. 5.8]
