A - IMPORTANT: YOU ARE USING GAS, BE
VERY CAREFUL!
The purpose of these instructions is to enable you
®
to use your Campingaz
complete safety.
Please read them carefully to familiarise yourself
with the equipment prior to assembling the gas
container. Keep these instructions in a safe place so
that you can refer to them if needed.
Please observe these instructions and the safety
measures printed on the Campingaz
cartridges. Failure to observe these instructions
may result in the user and people in the immediate
vicinity being put at risk.
This equipment must be used exclusively with
®
Campingaz
CV300 PLUS cartridges. Using other
gas containers may be dangerous. The Société
Application Des Gaz accepts no responsibility where
cartridges of any other make are used.
Your stove should only be used in premises with
sufficient ventilation (minimum 2m
from inflammable materials.
This stove is not connected to a combustion
product evacuation system. It should be installed
and connected in accordance with installation rules
in force. Particular care should be given to
applicable provisions regarding ventilation.
Using a gas cooking stove produces heat and
humidity in the room where it is installed. Make sure
the
kitchen
is
well
ventilation sources open or install a mechanical
ventilation system (mechanical ventilation hood).
Intensive, prolonged use of the stove may require
additional ventilation, for example by opening a
window, or more efficient ventilation, for example by
increasing the power of the mechanical ventilation if
it exists. Do not use equipment which leaks,
functions incorrectly or is damaged. Return it to
your retailer who will inform you of your nearest
after-sales service.
Never modify this equipment or use it for purposes
for which it is not intended.
Do not use a container smaller than 12 cm or larger
than 26 cm in diameter. Do not use vessels with
concave or convex bottoms.
Do not use this product in caravans, cars, tents,
huts, sheds or any small enclosed areas.
The product should not be used while sleeping or
left unattended.
This product consumes fuel through combustion or
consumption of oxygen and gives off certain
substances and gas, which could be dangerous
such as carbon monoxide.
Carbon monoxide is an odorless, clear gas that can
cause flu-like symptoms, sickness, illness, and
possibly
death
if
produced
enclosed areas through use of the product without
proper ventilation.

B - PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
Remove the device from its packaging.
Installing the Campingaz
(Where the existing cartridge is empty, read paragraph
D : "Changing the cartridge").
When installing or changing a cartridge, always operate
in a very well-ventilated location, preferably outside,
never near a flame, heat source or spark (cigarette,
electric apparatus, etc.) and far away from other people
and inflammable materials.

THESE CARTRIDGES.
a) Check that the gas supply is fully turned off by turning
the control knob (1) clockwise (OFF position ''●'') (fig. 1).
b) Remove the base (4) by turning it anti-clockwise then
take off the pot (7) (fig. 4).
c) Place the base (4) on a flat surface then put the
cartridge (8) into the base inside the 4 tabs (P) (fig.
5). Press the cartridge down firmly to lock it in the
four teeth (G).
d) Holding the pot, insert the cylinder and the base
vertically inside it. Lock the base by screwing it in
completely, as indicated in figure 7.
INSTALLATION OF PAN SUPPORT (fig. 2)
Place the pan support hooks in the slots located on each
side of the burner and turn the pan support clockwise to
lock it.
Place the device on a flat surface that does not give
off heat.
The equipment is ready for use.
In the event of leakage (smell of gas prior to turning the
tap on), take the equipment outside immediately, in a
well-ventilated area with no combustion source, where
the leak can be located and halted. If you wish to check
that your equipment is correctly sealed, do so outside.
Never attempt to locate leaks using a flame. Use gas
leak solution.
C - USE
Additional instructions:
Do not use your stove at a distance closer than 20
cm to a wall or flammable object, nor closer than 1
metre to a ceiling.
WARNING: Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep
young children away.
Never touch the pan support (2) or the burner (3)
during or just after using the equipment.
Do not obstruct the ventilation hole in the cartridge
compartment cover.
