Introduction Thank you for choosing a Yamaha HY256-TL-SMF Audio Interface Card. The HY256-TL-SMF is a digital I/O card for HY card slots, and compatible with Yamaha’s TWINLANe* audio network protocol. To take full advantage of the superior features and performance offered by your HY256-TL-SMF, and to enjoy years of trouble-free use, please read this owner’s manual carefully before using your card. -

• Cables of up to 2 km can be used. (node-to-node distance) • Total cable length must be within 6 km. • The HY256-TL-SMF cannot be combined with the HY256-TL in the same TWINLANe network.
