• Make the bed, laying the mattress cover and/or the first sheet on top of the underblanket.
Place the second sheet and the normal blanket or duvet on top.
CONNECTING THE CONTROL UNIT
• Place the control unit connector (2) through the triangle opening on the side of the
elasticated skirt, so that the connector will be under the underblanket.
• Insert the control unit connector (2) in the underblanket connector (1) to connect the
control unit to the underblanket.
• For the double bed model, repeat the operation for the second control unit as well.
• Run the control unit cable along the floor next to the bed. Do not squash the control unit
cable between the mattress and the bed frame.
• Insert the plug of the control unit cable in the mains socket (3).
SWITCHING ON AND SELECTING THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE
To ensure the best possible well-being, the underblanket is designed to warm only the
part of the bed from the feet area to just before the pillow.
The control unit can be set to the following temperature levels:
: rapid preheating temperature
1-5: temperatures for night-time or continuous use
• Switch on the underblanket from the back of the control unit, by positioning the switch
ON 'I' (12).
• For rapid preheating of the bed, press the Express pre-heat button (9). The symbol
(6) lights up on the control unit.
• When the right temperature is reached, release the Express fast pre-heat button (9)
to deactivate the fast pre-heat function.
IMPORTANT: The time required to heat the mattress cover may vary depending on
the room temperature. To judge the temperature accurately, lie in the bed with the
covers draped over you. Do not rely on a hand placed on the bed.
NIGHT-TIME OR CONTINUOUS USE
For night-time or continuous use, set the control unit to
temperature levels 1 to 5 only.
DO NOT get into bed with the control unit set to a higher
temperature than recommended for continuous use.
If the appliance is slept on with the controls set to a higher
temperature the user may suffer skin burns or heat stroke.
