3.3 Fields and Limits of use
The pump – electric pump is designed and manufactured
to operate in immersion and it is suitable for raising
water from 6" artesian wells and/or from storage tanks,
in all situations of water provisioning, in the agricultural,
industrial and domestic field.
3.4 Characteristics and limits of treated waters
•
Chemically and mechanically non-aggressive
•
without any solid substances
•
maximum content of solid substances 40 g/m³
•
maximum temperature of pumped water: 30°C.
3.5 Improper uses
The pump – electric pump is not suitable for:
•
dry operation
•
pumping fluids other than clear water
•
pumping corrosive, explosive or inflammable liquids
•
operations in places where explosion hazards have
been classified

OPERATING CONDITIONS
-
Minimum nominal diameter of the artesian well 250 mm.;

Installation below the water level (electric pump wholly immersed) minimum 2 m. Installation above the bottom of the well minimum
2 m.; it is required verify if the water- bearing stratum is subjected to changes and/or it is suitable sufficiently to the extraction po-
tential of the electric pump (capacity range);

Maximum running time operating on closed inlet 2-3 min.;
-
Maximum start-ups per hour, equally divided in time: 10;
-
Feed voltage to motor: ± 5% of rated value.
THE PUMP – ELECTRIC PUMP IS DESIGNED TO BE USED ACCORDING TO THE ABOVE - DESCRIBED CONDITIONS. ANY DIFFERENT USE IS NOT
ALLOWED.
IMPROPER USE OF THE PUMP – ELECTRIC PUMP WILL VOID THE WARRANTY AND RELIEVE THE MECCANICA INDUSTRIALE S.R.L. FROM ANY

THE LIFTING AND HANDLING OPERATIONS OF THE PRODUCT MUST BE OPERATED BY SPECIALIZED
PERSONNEL.
THE WATERS TREATED BY THE PUMP – ELECTRIC PUMP SUBJECT OF THIS
DOCUMENT ARE NOT DIRECTLY USABLE AS POTABLE. IF OCCURS,
SPECIFIC WATER PURIFICATION DEVICES ARE REQUIRED.
NEVER ALLOW THE PUMP – ELECTRIC PUMP TO OPERATE WITHOUT
PROTECTIONS (SUCTION SCREEN AND CABLE GUARD) AND/OR WITHOUT
THE CHECK VALVE FITTED INTO THE DELIVERY CASING.
FOR STAGES GREATER THAN 50 M. FURTHER CHECK VALVE MUST BE
INTERPOSED.
THE ELECTRICAL AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEM MUST BE SUITABLE TO THE
PUMP – ELECTRIC PUMP INSTALLED.
