written authorisation from the manufacturer it is pro-

obligates indemnity. The right to claim additional
indemnities remains reserved.
1.5 Spare parts

Faulty or non-genuine spare parts may interfere with
the safety and may as well lead to damages,
malfunctions or total loss. Therefore:
• Use only genuine spare parts from the
manufacturer.
Procure spare parts only from an authorised dealer
or directly from the manufacturer.

is always keen to learn about new information and
experiences that result from practical application

1.8 Declaration of conformity
The declaration of conformity is included with the
product on delivery.

2. Safety

This section gives an overview over the most impor-
tant safety aspects to ensure an optimum protection
for the personnel as well as for a safe and trouble-
free operation.
The non-observance of the operational information
and the safety precautions from this manual may
lead to considerable risks.
2.1 Responsibility of the user
The unit is employed in the commercial sector. The
user of this unit therefore is subject to legal obliga-
tions concerning occupational safety. Besides the
occupational safety information in this user manual
the current safety, accident prevention and environ-
mental protection regulations for the employment of
this unit must be observed. Thereby particularly
applies:
• The user must familiarise himself with the appli-
cable occupational safety regulations and must
additionally establish risks, which are related to
specific work conditions at the place of employ-
ment of the unit in a risk assessment. This must
be implemented in the form of operational
directives for the operation of the unit.
• The user must clearly regulate and determine
the responsibilities for installation, operation,
maintenance and cleaning.
• The user must take care that all personnel that is
handling the unit have read and understood the
user manual.
Furthermore he must train the personnel and
inform about risks in regular intervals.
• The user must provide his personnel with the
required protective clothing. Furthermore the
user is responsible that the unit is always in
a technically perfect condition.
Therefore the following applies:
• The user must take care that the maintenance
intervals described in this user manual are
adhered to.
• The user must take care that all safety
applications for operability and integrity
are regularly checked.
2.2 Staff requirements
2.2.1 Qualifications

Improper use may lead to considerable personal or
tangible damage. Hence:
• ll operations may only be performed by
qualified personnel.
In the user manual the following qualifications are
specified for different areas of activity.
– Personnel
• Qualified laboratory worker /
qualified dental technologist
is due to the professional training, knowledge and
experience as well as the knowledge of relevant
regulations able to perform the assigned work and is
also able to self-reliantly identify and avoid possible
risk.
• Certified electrician
is due to the professional training, knowledge and
experience as well as the knowledge of relevant
standards and able to perform the assigned work
and is also able to self-reliantly identify and avoid
possible risk.
2.3 Proper use
The unit is exclusively designed and engineered for
the here described use:
The pre-heating furnace is exclusively used for the
extraction of wax from casting moulds.

Danger due to improper use!
Any use of the unit not according to specifications
and/or any altered application may lead to dange-
rous situations. Therefore:
• Use the unit only according to specifications.
• Strictly adhere to all information of this user
manual.
The sockets on the back side are exclusively for the
connection of:
• a vapour extractor,
• a catalyst
• an extraction hood
Any claims based on damages caused by improper
use are excluded. Only the user is liable for all
damages caused by improper use.
2.4 Personal protective equipment
During work it is required to wear personal protective
equipment to minimise health hazards.
• For the respective work always wear the required
protective equipment.
• Follow the instructions regarding personal
protective equipment that is displayed in the
work area.
Wear for specific work
For the performance of specific work special pro-
tective equipment is required. In individual sections
of this manual this equipment will be separately
referred to. Below this specific protective equipment
is discussed:
Light breathing protection
to protect against harmful dusts.
Protective gloves
To protect the hands against friction,
abrasion, puncture or deeper injuries
as well as contact with hot surfaces.
2.5 Specific hazards
Please note the here listed safety precautions and
warning notes in the further sections of this manual
to reduce health hazards and to prevent dangerous
situations.
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury from
electrical current!
The imminent risk of fatal injury exists if live parts are
touched. Damage to insulation or individual parts
may be fatally dangerous.
Therefore:
• In case of damaged insulation switch off mains
supply immediately and prompt repairs.
• Work on the electric system must only be
performed by certified electricians.
• For all work at the electric system switch power
off and check that current is off.
• Before any maintenance, cleaning and repair
work switch off mains supply and secure against
reconnection.
• Do not bridge circuit breakers or put out of
operation. If circuit breakers are exchanged
keep to the correct Ampere value
• Keep humidity away from live parts.
It could cause a short-circuit.
