7. Electric connections
7.1 Inclination transmitter
The inclination sensor is connected via a highly flexible, shielded signal line
with 2 strands and PUR steath. The same is preassembled at the factory,
included in the delivery and available in different lenghts.

• Do not electricly modify the device nor carry out any
wiring work when energised.
• Do not plug in or unplug electric connection when
energised.
7.2 HART-Signal
The HART signal is directly tapped via the 4 ... 20mA signal line. The
measuring circuit must have a minimum load of 240Ω. Connect the HART
communicator or the HART modem via cable terminals or the existing com-
munication sockets of a power supply unit or separator. The connection is
independent of polarity.

8. Electric commissioning
•
Provide a separate power supply for the device in case of consumer
loads with high interference levels.
•
Install the entire plant in an EMC-compatible manner. Installation en-
vironment and wiring can affect the EMC of the device.
9. Maintenance
The device is free of maintenance. Repairs may only be carried out by
authorized authorities.

10. Programming
The inclination transmitter may be programmed via HART modems (e.g.
ifak system type isHRT USB) or via HART communicator (e.g. EMERSON
type 475). The cable terminals of the HART modems or communicators
are directly connected to the 4 ...20mA signal line.
• A reset to factory settings is not possible.
• The inclination transmitter must be connected
according to the wiring diagram
• The smallest programmable angle is 10°.
• Programming instructions for HART Field Com-
municator 475 available on our homepage www.

Use case 1: Set start and end value
1. Setting zero point (Command 43: Set primary variable zero)
2. Put transmitter into initial position
program 0% = 4 mA (Command 45: Trim Loop Current Zero)
3. Put transmitter into final position
program 100% = 20 mA (Command 46: Trim Loop Current Gain)
