MIXING
V-TAIL
Servo Travel Adjustment (ATV) and MIXING
Servo Travel Adjustment (ATV):
Move the mixer in "OFF" position.
Turn the potentiometer "CH4/CH1" to change the servo throw for channel 1, and the potentiometer
"CH2" to change the servo throw for channel 2. Use a small flat head screwdriver. Turning clockwise
will reduce the servo throw, counterclockwise will increase the servo throw.
V-Tail:
Here elevator and rudder are being mixed. Move the mixer switch in "V-Tail" position. By turning the
potentiometer "CH4/CH1" and "CH2" you can change the mix values of channel 1 and channel 2.
Delta Mixer:
This function mixes roll and elevator. Switch the mixer to "Elevon" position. By turning the potentiometer
CH4/CH1" and "CH2" you are able to change the mixing portions of Channel 1 and Channel 2.
Servo Reverse Switch (CH1 to CH4)
These switches allow you to change to operating direction of the related servos. With the switches
in the lower position (NOR) the servos work in their normal operational direction. When the switches
are in the upper position (REV) the operational direction of the servos is reversed.
The advantage of this feature is that you don't have to pay attention to the operational direction when
installing servos.
Binding
One of the differences compared to systems in 35, 40 or 72 MHz is that 2.4 GHz radios do not require
crystals. In order to synchronize transmitter and receiver the so called "binding" process is required.
This programming process has to be performed before the first use of the system. Please follow this
procedure:
1. Transmitter and receiver are switched off. Press the small, round knob (SW) on the receiver,
preferably with the tip of a ball pen. Keep the knob pressed down and switch on the receiver. The
receiver LED will start flashing indicating that the binding mode is active.
2. Press down the programming knob on the transmitter (PROG) and switch the transmitter on. Here,
too, the status LED will start flashing.
3. As soon as receiver and transmitter are linked up, the LED of the receiver will lit up permanently
(Note: the transmitter LED will continue flashing). Disconnect the battery in the model and then
switch off the transmitter. The synchronization process is complete.
If the procedure was not successful, please repeat the three steps above.
