A standard wheel guard, to be used with grinding and cut-off wheels, is supplied
with these machines.
The use of any accessories other that those recommended may be hazardous.
Inspect grinding wheels and other accessories before using. Do not use any that
may be damaged.
Always wear eye protection.
For maximum performance and best efficiency, apply a steady and even pressure.
Do not use excessive force.

Wire brushes
To install a wire brush, unplug the power cord from the supply line, remove the
clamp nut and flange, and screw the brush directly onto the spindle .

Carbon brushes

This tool is equipped with self-disconnecting carbon brushes. When the brushes
have reached their minimum length, they automatically interrupt the current flow
and the tool stops .
Use only genuine WALTER carbon brushes. These brushes are specially made
for these tools. They will maintain their high performance standard and ensure
maximum life of the motor .
When the carbon brushes require replacement, it is recommended that the tool be
sent to a WALTER Factory Service Center or a WALTER Authorized Service Center.
Apart from changing the brushes, your power tool will be cleaned, inspected
and lubricated as required. If new parts are necessary, only genuine WALTER
replacement parts will be used.

Abrasive wheels with a thickness of 1/4" are
mounted as shown in Figure 1.
Wheels under a 1/4" thickness are mounted as
shown in Figure 2.
