Adjusting the wall arm

Please be sure to observe the safety information in section 1.

The wall arm 9/a consists of the extension arm 9 and the spring arm a:
The extension arm 9 has two brake screws 8 for setting the brake power, so
that the appliance stays put in the desired position.
The spring arm a has a hole c for setting the load capacity and a hole b for
setting the height limit.
All settings are made with the enclosed size 5 Allen key.

2.1 Setting the brake power on the extension arm

1. Remove the plug 7 / switch off the wall power supply and take precautions to
prevent it being plugged in again / switched on again.
2. Insert size 5 Allen key into the brake screws 8 on the extension arm 9:
To increase the brake power:
Turn the Allen key to the right (clockwise).
To reduce the brake power:
Turn the Allen key to the left (anticlockwise).
3. Check brake power and repeat the procedure if necessary.

2.2 Setting the height limit on the spring arm

When supplied, the height of the spring arm a is limited to the horizontal position
A. The height limit can be raised by approx. 45 degrees.
1. Remove the plug 7 / switch off the wall power supply and take precautions to
prevent it being plugged in again / switched on again.
CAUTION – Damage to appliance:
Only raise the height limit so far that the spring arm a or the appliance does
not hit the ceiling.
2. Insert size 5 Allen key into the hole b on the spring arm a:
To raise the height limit:
Turn the Allen key to the left (anticlockwise).
To lower the height limit:
Turn the Allen key to the right (clockwise).
3. Check height limit and repeat the procedure if necessary.

2.3 Setting the load capacity on the spring arm

If the spring arm a drops, the load capacity is set too low. If the spring arm a ri-
ses, the load capacity is set too high.
1. Remove the plug 7 / switch off the wall power supply and take precautions to
prevent it being plugged in again / switched on again.
2. Lift spring arm a approx. 10°. If necessary, raise height limit.
3. Insert size 5 Allen key into the hole c on the spring arm a:
To increase the load capacity:
Turn the Allen key to the left (anticlockwise).
To lower the load capacity:
Turn the Allen key to the right (clockwise).
4. Check load capacity and repeat the procedure if necessary.
