    The mounting straps of the slings have 3 loops in different colors. Mounting strap sling Buttons for mounting strap Buttons of the patient hoists "Albatros" With the 3 different loops it is possible to raise patients from different heights. Color Description Tall patients, the hands of the patient can come close to the grip arms of the patient hoist so the patient can help actively to stand up.

    Slings: Albatros 2010-11 Raising Safety instructions Inform and train the personnel about the safety and risks when using the patient hoist and sling. This training shall be done by competent persons. The responsible person in your organization must decide if one or more care providers are necessary.

    Slings: Albatros 2010-11 The patient can be lowered with the patient hoist by following the instructions below: 1. If the patient is lowered to a wheelchair, apply the brakes of the wheelchair and remove the arm supports. 2. Position the wheelchair as close to the patient hoist. When lowering a patient into a chair, try to position the patient as close as possible to the back rest of the chair.

    Slings: Albatros 2010-11 Care Clean the sling for every new user. Note the instructions below for cleaning the sling: Clean the sling with a cloth moistened with hot water. Use a mild commercial detergent for removing stubborn dirt. Stains can be removed by using a sponge or a soft brush.
