Warning:
 When carrying out work on the equipment:
de-energise the equipment.

10. Repair

Warning:
 When carrying out work on the equipment: De-energise the equipment.
 Repairs shall be made by a skilled electrical engineer.
When opening the Sentry you may touch parts under hazardous voltage.
Ion emission has been balanced in the design of the Sentry. The ion balance cannot be
adjusted and special measuring equipment is needed for checking.
Simco-Ion recommends that you return the Sentry for repair.
Pack it properly and clearly state the reason for return.

No mains voltage
Faulty (POWER) switch
Faulty lamp (HV indicator)
HV wiring interrupted
Faulty HV transformer
Fouling of emitter points
No voltage on fan
Faulty fan
Filter fouled and/or clogged Clean or replace filter
Remedy
Connect mains voltage
Replace the switch
Replace lamp
Restore wiring
Replace HV transformer
Clean the emitter points
Find cause and remedy
Replace the fan
