Choose a guide and a reduction tube that
corresponds to the screwdriver.
Insert the guide into the slide-block. Place
the screwdriver with the reduction tube so
that the screwdrivers profile is between the
2 round stones.
In order to use the machine in a manageable
way, put a drop of oil or petroleum onto the
stones and hold the machine in your left hand.
Gently exert pressure on the screwdriver with
your right index and simultaneously move the
slide-block back and forth.
Turn the slide-block in order to have the
screwdriver placed above the square
stone and sharpen the blade to the wanted
thickness.
With the two screws on the upper part of the
machine, adjust the gap between the round
stones to the thickness of your screwdriver.
Control the stone's parallelism by looking
through the inspection holes on the lower part
of the machine and holding it against the light.
If the stones are used, slightly turn them.
The square stone can be moved and used on
all four sidest.

Escoger una guía y un tubo de reducción que
corresponde al destornillador que sequiere
afilar.
Introducir la guía en la espiga. Poner el des-
tornillador con el tubo de reducción demane-
ra que el perfil del destornillador está entre
las dos afiladeras.
Para utilizar el aparato de manera racionál,
poner una gota de aceite o de petróleo sobre
las afiladeras. Tener el aparato en su mano
izquierda: con el índice de la derecha, poco
presionar sobre el destornillador y mover la
espiga de aquí para allá.
Tornar la espiga para que el destornilla-
dor está encima de la piedra rectangular y
afilar la hoja hasta el grosor deseado.
Con los dos tornillos sobre el aparato, se pue-
de arreglar el espacio entre las afiladeras,se-
gún el grosor del destornillador.
Controlar si las afiladeras estan parale-
las por las mirillas debajo del aparato,
poniendolo contra la luz. Si las afiladeras es-
tan usadas por un lado, tornearlas un poco.
La piedra rectangular se puede mover y es
utilizable por los quatro lados.
