CONNECTING ANALOGUE DEVICES
Connect all analogue devices such as a tuner, record player, tape
deck or amplifier to the grey „analogue" sockets. The Power-
socket 907 uses these sockets to provide unfiltered current for
all analogue devices and sufficient reserves for a permanent,
stable power supply at all times, even in the event of high power
requirements.
POLARITY CONTROL
An in-phase connection of all devices will guarantee the best
possible, unadulterated sound. This is the only way to ensure that
potential equalisation currents, which have a negative impact on
the sound, are effectively avoided. The POLARITY light indicates
that the red sockets are connected in-phase (L). If the polarity
light does not illuminate, switch off the power supply, remove
the mains plug from the wall socket, turn it around around 180°
and plug it in again. The polarity LED now illuminates and the
phase designation on the individual sockets correctly designates
the phase. To proof the correct in-phase connection of your HIFI-
device, you should use the Oehlbach Phaser (Art.No. 17017). All
end devices can now be connected in-phase accordingly.
USB PORTS
The Powersocket 907 is equipped with two USB ports, which
can be used to charge multimedia devices (MP3 players, smart-
phones, etc.). The USB ports are only active when the
Powersocket is switched on via the power switch.
