Using the portable grill
➤ Always slide the rack in at the required height together with the drip tray
(4).
➤ If required, insert the roasting spit (5) into the rails on the side panels.

Installing the burner
Classic (fig. 3, page 4)
➤ Place the burners (7) onto the side panels.
➤ Insert the injector (6) into the burner (7) until you hear it click.
Consul: Installing the burner in barbecuing position (fig. 4, page 4)
➤ Install the burner in the barbecuing position:
– Insert the bolts of the burner (7) horizontally into the in guide slots in
the side parts (3) in barbecuing position. You need to bend the side
parts apart gently to do this.
– Hook the burner into the two holding bolts (10).
– Push the handles (9) onto the bolts of the burner from outside.
➤ Insert the injector (6) into the burner (7).
➤ Fix the injector with the retaining clamp (8).

WARNING! Beware of burns
The burner becomes very hot when it is running. Always hold the
burner by the handles when turning it into the heating position and
back.
➤ Lift the burner (1) by the handles (2) and tilt it backwards slightly (A).
➤ Pull the burner forwards slightly in the guide slots until the bolt (4) is no
longer in the guide (3) of the burner (B).
➤ Turn the burner (1) by around 90° until the ceramic surfaces (5) are facing
forward (C).
➤ Push the burner back again in the guide slots (D).
✓ The burner is kept in the heating position by the bolt (6).
➤ To return the burner to the barbecuing position, repeat this sequence in
reverse order.
