10 FAQ
1. Can more than one remote control be synchronised with one Electric Servetto i3?
Yes, up to 8 different remote controls can be tuned via the tuning procedure (Chap. 6) to each Electric Servetto i3. The
procedure indicated in Chap. 6, must be carried out for each button you wish to synchronise.
2. Can the Electric Servetto i3 be connected to a home automation system or a remote switch?
Yes, in order to connect the Electric Servetto i3 to a home automation system or a monostable remote switch, you will
need to purchase the cable as an optional accessory (Part No. DOMOi3ELZ) and manage the Electric Servetto i3's operation
by closing the circuit.
3. When I press the remote control, the Electric Servetto i3 BEEPS twice but does not lower.
The Electric Servetto i3 requires at least one security sensor to be connected and free from obstacles in order to work.
Therefore, check that the security sensors have been correctly connected and that the LEDS (No. 1 and/or 2 in Fig. 2) are off
when the doors are fully open. If the LEDs remain lit, check that there is no object within approximately 30 cm of the sensor
and that the sensor has been correctly connected.
4. When raising, the Electric Servetto i3 beeps twice and then stops.
Check that the load on the clothes rail tube is 17 kg or less. Activate the pull-down lift by pressing the remote control
button once more; the Electric Servetto i3 will lower back down. Remove some clothing until the load weight is within the
load capacity and then reactivate the pull-down lift.
5. When lowering, the Electric Servetto i3 stops and BEEPS twice.
Something has obstructed the security sensor. Remove the obstruction and press the button; the Electric Servetto i3 will
then resume in the same direction.
6. The Electric Servetto i3 is not working.
Carry out the following checks:
o
Check that the green power LED is lit (No. 5 in Fig. 2).
o
Check that the security sensor(s) is/are working correctly (Chap. 4).
o
Check that the remote control has been correctly tuned and is working (Chap. 6).
7. When the remote control button is pressed, two Electric Servetto i3 lower at the same time.
The remote control button has been tuned to both Electric Servetto i3. Therefore, the remote controls tuned by both
Electric Servetto i3 must be deleted (Chap. 6.1). Once deleted, repeat the tuning procedure on both Electric Servetto i3, this
time choosing a different button for each pull-down lift (Chap. 6).
8. When I connect the Electric Servetto i3 to the power supply, the control unit emits a series of continuous BEEPS.
Check the arm connections according to the labels affixed to the control unit. If the arm connection cables are reversed or
not connected, the Electric Servetto i3 will emit an audible alarm and not work.
