9. Recording of TV Programmes

To record a TV programme, a suitable USB medium must be connected to the back of the
appliance (see 8.1).

9.1. Recording the running programme

For recording the running programme, please proceed as follows:
1. Select the desired source and station. Press the recording button on your remote
control. Recording will start automatically.
2. For showing and hiding the recording menu press the recording button again.
3. For terminating recording, select „Stop" or press the stop button on your remote control.
If demanded, confirm that you want to terminate the recording.

9.2. Timer-controlled recording

For programming a timer-controlled recording, please proceed as follows:
1. Select the desired source and station.
2. Press the „LCD MENU"-button on your remote control.
3. Select the level „Channel".
4. Open the function „Recorded Mode".
5. Set the desired station, the start and end time as well as the recording rhythm.
6. Confirm your settings with „OK".

9.3. Timer-controlled recording via the EPG menu

For programming a timer-controlled recording via the EPG menu, please proceed as follows:
1. Select the desired source and station.
2. Press the „EPG"-button on your remote control. The programme guide is displayed.
3. Press the „INDEX"-button and press the „"-button to change to the level „Channel".
4. Using the buttons „/" select the desired programme.
5. Activate the timer-controlled recording by pressing the button „Record" on your remote
control.
6. Confirm the settings with „OK".

9.4. Management of timer-controlled recordings

For the administration of timer-controlled recordings, please proceed as follows:
1. Press the „LCD MENU"-button on your remote control.
2. Select the level „Channel".
3. Open the function „Recorded List".

9.5. Administering the recorded programmes

For the administration of the data saved on the medium, please proceed as follows:
1. Press the „INDEX" button on your remote control. The data saved on the medium are
displayed.
2. Select the desired data set and press
- the „OK"-button on your remote control for playing the file;
- the "INDEX" button to change the sort sequence;
- the „DISPLAY"-button on your remote control for having displayed further information
regarding the file;
- the red button on your remote control for deleting the file.
