Installing the GSM Module

NOTICE!
The installation procedure hereafter describes how to use the
GSM Module with an external antenna. To install or replace an
internal antenna, see the GSM internal antenna installation
addendum. For compatibility of the internal antenna, see
Section A.3 Check the compatibility of the internal antenna,
Page 49.

CAUTION!
Remove the power plug from the Carephone. Disconnect the
internal backup battery. See the user manual of the Carephone.
TeleAlarm
Open the cover of the Carephone to access the connection
compartment. Locate the place where the GSM Module is
to be positioned and the plastic retainer.
