Closing the enclosure / cover closure

Any foreign matter including packaging should be removed
before closing the cover and taking the enclosure into service.
Cover with screws:
The screws can be tightened with a suitable tool.
When closing the lid it is necessary to ensure the lid and body are
correctly aligned to ensure the correct sealing around the gasket.
The lid should preferably be locked with the enclosure in the correct
orientation, after ensuring correct alignment. If this is not possible
then it may locked with the enclosure resting on its rear face only
after the alignment of the door and body have been confirmed
For larger enclosures, sizes from 1000mm x 800mm and larger, to
ensure correct operation of the door riser the enclosure should be
locked starting with the bottom lock nearest the hinge and then each
lock in turn round to the top lock nearest the hinge last.
In order to ensure the required minimum protection category, the cover
screws are to be tightened to the correct torque (see technical datas).
Overtightening might impair the protection category.
