If the time in the display has reached "00:00", switch the appliance off by touch-
ing the POWER button for approx. 1 second (the screen goes dark, excluding
the POWER button, which continues to flash faintly), then pull the plug. Open
the lid by turning it in a clockwise direction, take it off and use the handle to
pull the ice cream container out of the appliance.
If you do not switch the appliance off right after the screen has reached "00:00",
the appliance starts the automatic refrigeration function. "COOL" is displayed in
the screen. The cooling unit and the fan switch on for 15 minutes and cool the
yogurt mixture down to approx. 9°C. After that, both the cooling unit and the
fan switch off. Thanks to a temperature sensor, the temperature of the yogurt
is being monitored. If it rises above 9°C, the cooling unit and the fan switch
back on for another 4 minutes. The machine continues cooling in this 4-minute
rhythm until the appliance is switched off. The yogurt mixture might freeze
during that time.
Important: If you do not want to eat the yogurt right away, we recommend
transferring it to a number of other containers, closing them with lids and plac-
ing them in the refrigerator.
Under all circumstances, use the included plastic scraper or another plastic spat-
ula to take the yogurt out of the container. Never handle a metal kitchen tool
inside the ice cream container!
Never place the ice cream container itself in the refrigerator!

Use 1 litre of UHT milk, either cow's milk, soy milk or goat's milk (oat milk and
lactose free milk are possible as well) and either 50 ml of natural yogurt with
living yogurt cultures or yogurt powder (e.g. from the health food shop).
Use only products of which the expiry date is not exceeded.
When using UHT milk, you do not need to boil it, as it already has been heated
up to ultra high temperatures.
When using fresh milk or raw milk, it has to be heated up to at least 90°C to
destroy the bacteria and germs in the milk.
Heat UHT milk to 38 – 40°C resp. let the fresh milk or raw milk that you heated
up cool down to this temperature. Then, add the natural yogurt or the yogurt
powder.
When using yogurt powder, please stick to the information given on the pack-
aging of the powder to prepare the yogurt culture according the information
of the manufacturer.
When adding ready-made natural yogurt, please make sure that it contains living
yogurt cultures.
Stir the milk with the prepared yogurt powder or the yogurt with living yogurt
cultures thoroughly with a whisk to evenly mix in the yogurt cultures.
Pour the milk with the cultures into the ice cream container and prepare the
yogurt as described in the "Making Yogurt" section.
If you want to add fruit, fruit puree, honey, chocolate or other ingredients, only
do so when the yogurt is finished.
After the yogurt preparation has ended, stir the yogurt in the ice cream con-
tainer thoroughly with a plastic spatula before filling it into smaller glasses.
Close the glasses with lids and place the yogurt glasses in the refrigerator.
You can eat the yogurt right away or store it in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
Please note that the yogurt becomes a bit more sour every day, this is due to the
natural acidification.
