TREATMENT
Indications
The AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 is recommended for :
•
Removing stains/colorations and dental plaque
•
Plaque removal for placement of sealants,
•
Surface preparation prior to bonding/cemen-
tation of inlays onlays, crowns and veneers,
•
Surface preparation prior to placing composite
restorations,
•
Cleaning prior to bonding orthodontic brackets,
•
Effective plaque and stain removal for orth-
odontic patients,
•
Stain removal for shade determination,
•
Plaque removal prior to fluoride treatment,
•
Plaque and stain removal prior to whitening
procedure.
Contra-indications
In order to avoid any risk of emphysema,
hypersensitivity, bleeding and patient uncomfort,
the use of supragingival powders (EMS CLASSIC,
CLASSIC COMFORT and SOFT) is strictly
forbidden during subgingival treatments (contacts
with soft tissues, dentine, cementum).
Patients suffering from chronic bronchitis
or asthma must not, under any circumstances, be
treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air
and powder could cause respiratory difficulties.

patients en traitement orthodontiques,
•
Elimination des tâches pour la détermination
des teintes,
•
Elimination de la plaque préalable à l'applica-
tion topique de fluor,
•
Elimination de la plaque et de tâches avant
blanchiment.
Contre-indications
Afin d'éviter tout risque d'emphysème,
d'hypersensibilité, de saignements et d'inconfort
patient, l'utilisation des poudres supragingivales
(EMS CLASSIC, CLASSIC COMFORT et SOFT)
est strictement interdite lors de traitements sous-
gingivaux (contact avec tissus mous, dentine,
cément).
Les patients souffrant de bronchite
chronique ou d'asthme ne doivent en aucun cas
être traités avec un aéropolisseur. Le jet d'air et
de poudre pourrait provoquer des difficultés respi-
ratoires.

von Versiegelern

Vorbereiten der Oberflächen vor dem Kleben/
Zementieren von Inlays, Onlays, Kronen und
Verblendungen
•
Vorbereiten der Oberflächen vor dem Platzie-
ren von Kompositrestaurationen
•
Reinigen vor dem Kleben kieferorthopädischer
Brackets
•
Effektives Entfernen von Zahnbelag und Ver-
färbungen bei Orthodontiepatienten
•
Entfernen von Verfärbungen vor der Farb-
bestimmung
•
Entfernen von Zahnbelag vor der Fluoridbe-
handlung
•
Entfernen von Zahnbelag und Verfärbungen
vor dem Zähnebleichen
Gegenanzeigen
Um jedwede Risiken von Emphysemen,
Überempfindlichkeiten und Blutungen sowie ein
Unbehagen des Patienten zu vermeiden, ist die
Verwendung von supragingivalen Pulvern (EMS
CLASSIC, CLASSIC COMFORT und SOFT)
während der subgingivalen Behandlung (Kontakt
mit Mundschleimhäuten, Dentin, Cementum)
streng verboten.
Patienten, die unter einer chronischen
Bronchitis oder Asthma leiden, dürfen unter keinen
Umständen mit einem Airpolishing-Gerät behandelt
werden. Der aus Luft und Pulver bestehende Strahl
kann Atemwegsprobleme verursachen.
