Preparation of the computer

1. Battery use

During the use of the battery, please respect these instructions:
1. Do not disassemble the battery without authorization;
2. Do not use in contact with metal or any other conductor to prevent short-circuits;
3. Keep the battery away from children;
4. Please throw the battery away according to the current law.
2. AC adapter connection
The AC adapter converts alternative current from an outlet into a direct current for
the computer. The current from the battery supplies electrical power to the computer.
The adapter may use oscillating tensions between 100 and 240V. Make sure to use
the provided adapter to avoid any damage.
To charge the battery, use the supplied AC adapter to connect your device to an
outlet. About 4 to 5 hours are needed to fully charge the battery.
Caution: The power supply cord plugs differ depending on the regions. Your laptop is supplied with its
corresponding power cord; make sure to always use this one.
Warning: do not touch the power cord nor the plug; This may cause an electric choc. Make sure to not
place any heavy objects on the power cord.
Note :
a. Only use the charger supplied with this device.
b. This device can be used while charging.
c. Charge the battery before the first use of the device.
d. For maximum performances, battery must be used frequently. If you don't you use your device
often, make sure to recharge it at least once a month.
e. If the device's battery is fully discharged, connect the device to a power supply source (using the
AC adapter) for approximately 5-10 minutes before the continued use.

3. Start the computer

1. Remove the packaging.
2. Place the laptop on a stable surface.
3. Slowly raise the screen with your thumb.
4. Gently raise the screen with your thumb to optimise the vision angle.
