Safety precautions

Please read the precautions for use below before using this notebook. Respecting these rules will increase
significantly the computer's durability.
• Do not press or tap the screen.
• Do not place objects on the computer, including papers and books. Please close
the cover with precautions to avoid damaging the LCD's screen.
• Do not expose the computer to direct sunlight exposure, especially in a car.
• Do not place the computer switched on or in charge directly on your lap or any
other body parts to avoid burn risks linked to the heat.
• Always carefully install the computer on flat and solid surfaces
• Do not expose the computer to powerful magnetic or electric fields.
• The LCD screen may gather dust because of static electricity. Use a soft and dry
cloth to wipe it off and avoid pressing too much. Do not clear the dust with your
hands to avoid living finger prints on the screen.
• Please switch off your computer when taking a flight. Using a computer while
flying may provoke interferences with aircraft instruments and impair the flight
security.
• Do not open nor repair your computer by yourself, this will void the warranty. Only
qualified professionals can do the mounting and the maintenance.
• Please only use certified pieces and accessories. Non-certified or non-conform
pieces may cause damages to your computer.
• Do not place the computer next to a fire and do not throw it into a fire, this may
cause an explosion. Please contribute to battery recycling.
• Keep the computer away from damp and watering places such as bathtubs, sinks,
laundry room, caves or swimming pool.
