After selection of the alarm mode
connecting the receiver to the mains outlet when the alarm mode is
preselected the 60 second exit delay commences. During this time the
area of detection can be crossed without without causing an alarm.

If the switch [17] is set at position 15 or 30 then a beep sound will be
heard upon detection. There follows an entry delay of 15 or 30 seconds
during which time the receiver can be removed from the mains outlet
before the alarm sounds.

During the entry delay and during the alarm sound the alarm can only be
stopped by removing the receiver from the mains outlet.

After every chime or alarm sound there follows a reset period of approx. 4
seconds after which time the selected mode is reactivated.

Press on the arrow marking on the battery compartment cover [13] and
push this downwards (in the direction of the arrow). Remove the three
visible batteries. Remove the battery at the back of the compartment by
pulling the cloth tab [12].
Place 4 new AA batteries in the battery compartment [10]. Pay attention
to the polarity; the negative (-) pole of each battery must connect to a
spring contact [11].
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Check the proper condition and function regularly.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the appliance.
