10. Light signals and what they mean
The LED in the release button of the eHandle AutoLock for windows
provides a range of information about operating statuses and errors.
Specifically, the LED gives the following signals:
Programming
The LED flashes green five times
Explanation: The programming process (Section 8) has been suc-
cessfully completed. The eHandle AutoLock for windows can now be
used with your smart home central control unit.
Operation
The LED lights up green for one second
Explanation: The request to unlock the device was sent by pressing
the release button and approved by the smart home central control
unit. The locking unit is unlocked.
The LED lights up red for three seconds
Explanation: The request to unlock the device was sent by pressing
the release button and not approved by the smart home central control
unit. The locking unit is not unlocked.
If the handle was moved into the closed position from the open or tilted
position, the LED lights up red for three seconds shortly afterwards to
indicate that the eHandle AutoLock for windows is being locked. To
open the device again, release must be requested via the release button.
The LED flashes green once
Explanation: The release button has been pressed with the handle in
the open or tilted position. The LED indicates that release authorisation
is still present.
The LED flashes red once
Explanation: The release button has been pressed with the handle in
the open or tilted position. The LED indicates that there is no release
