7.1 Cooling/Humidification

Press the cooling/humidification pushbutton (COOL/HUM). As a result, water will begin to
circulate in the system and the water pump will start sucking up water from the tank; water
will be supplied to the upper compartment so as to subsequently flow down uniformly
through several openings onto the evaporation filter. Cooler, damp air will then come out of
the appliance.
Cooling TIP:
If you wish to increase the cooling effect, place the ice packs in a freezer for a couple of
hours until the liquid inside is frozen. Then, place them into the tank with water or into the
upper compartment (section 4.1, item I). When inserting ice packs into the water tank, make
sure the water does not exceed the MAX level indicating the maximum possible filling.
Clean ice made from potable water may also be placed in the lower tank. Do not use natural
ice from outdoor sources; potential impurities might damage the suction pump.
WARNING: KEEP THE ICE PACKS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

7.2 Empty tank

When
the

cooling/humidification, the pumps will switch off automatically thanks to the floater;
however, the fan will keep running at the selected fan speed according to the following
table. This means that cooling/humidification will still take place during this time, and also
that the evaporation filter will dry out, thereby prolonging its service life. Once the filter is
dry, the appliance will switch itself off. Refill the tank, or operate the appliance in ventilation
mode (COOL/HUM is not active).
