1 Safety instructions

Read these instructions for use carefully before using the unit
o Install the unit on a level, dry and solid floor to reduce potential vibrations or noise.
o Never use the unit with damaged cord or another connector or if something appears
unusual. In such a case, please contact your customer support service.
o Disconnect the unit from power supply when it is not in use or when is moved and cleaned.
o Use the unit in compliance with specified voltage.
o The unit is intended for indoor household use in only. Do not use for any other purposes.
o Do not place heavy objects on top of the unit.
o Do not tilt the unit on its sides, water in the unit may leak and damage it. When moving the
unit, disconnect it from the mains and handle with care to prevent water from spilling out of
the tank.
o Never insert any objects into the inner space of the unit to prevent its failure.
o Do not place the unit near appliances radiating heat or near flammable and hazardous
materials.
o This appliance is not intended for use by persons (children) with reduced physical or sensory
capabilities, or insufficient experience, unless they have been instructed in the use of the
appliance, or are working under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised by an adult and should not play with the appliance.
o If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent or
similarly qualified person to avoid the risk of injury.
o The unit must be installed with an accessible plug.
o Use the unit only in well-ventilated rooms. To avoid any unwanted blockage of air intake or
exhaust, the unit should be installed at a min. distance of 20 cm from the nearest obstacle.
The unit must not be installed near curtains or similar home furnishings.
o Fill the unit only with clean water, and only up to the maximum level indicated. Do not pour
in water when the unit is IN OPERATION!
o Keep the delivered ice packs out of reach of children because the chemical substances
contained in these packs are harmful to health when swallowed. Make sure the ice packs
are not exposed to direct sunlight. Ice packs can be used for more than 5 years. Follow the
national legislation when disposing of ice packs.
o The unit must be installed in harmony with national regulations for electrical installation
systems.
o Do not attempt to hide the power cord, for example, under the carpet, and do not place it
in areas where people are likely to be moving around. If you follow these rules, people are
less likely to trip over the cable.
Do not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify the unit as this may result in failure or
damage.
