SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be
integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this
appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fl uctuation or the
modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2.
Do not operate blender with a damaged cord. All repairs including cord replacements shall be
performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk
of electric shock!

3.
Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric
shock.
4.
Do not operate the blender outdoors or in a moist environment and do not touch the cord or appliance
with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
5.
Close supervision is necessary for operating the blender near children!
6.
Do not leave the blender running unattended.
7.
Pay close attention when handling and cleaning, blades are very sharp and can cause injury. Avoid contact
with moving parts.
8.
Use for processing food only. The highest possible temperature of processed food is 80 °C. Do not use
boiling food.
9.
Switch all control elements OFF prior to disconnecting the cord from the outlet.
10. Leaving the blender cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the cord from
the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the
cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug. Wrap the cord around the blender freely prior
to putting away.
11. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
12. Use accessories only advised by the manufacturer, otherwise you risk losing the warranty.
13. Use the blender only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. This blender is intended
for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this
appliance.
14. Never use the blender if the blender container is damaged or the blade unit is loose or damaged.
15. Use the blender only with the lid attached. If the container turns when the motor is running, immediately
turn off the blender and tighten the container to the blender's body.
16. Do not put the container fi lled with food or liquids in the freezer. Freezing the contents could damage the
container and the blade unit.
17. This appliance should not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its power supply out of reach
of children. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities
or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or if they were instructed how to use the
appliance safely and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Thoroughly rinse the mixing container, the mill and the blade unit with warm water before fi rst use. Do not use
dishwasher. Then dry everything thoroughly. Be very careful when handling the blade unit, the blades are very
sharp. Never immerse the body of the blender in water.
