Rain sensor switch
If the system is fitted with rain
sensors, the rain sensor can be
activated using this switch.
Once the rain sensor has been activated,
the LED above the switch will light up.
The sensitivity of the rain sensors can be
adjusted using the rain sensor switch.
The sensitivity can be set using seven
different settings, with seven being the
least sensitive (more rain drops needed
to activate the wipers) and one being the
most sensitive (fewer rain drops needed
to activate the wipers).
By pressing the rain sensor switch for
three seconds, the next setting will be
activated and displayed on the LED
When switching on the rain sensor(s),
all wipers will be activated..
Wipe-clean switch
By pressing the switch once, the
wipe-clean program will automati-
cally be activated:
- three-second window spray
- three wipes (minimum) with simultaneous
spraying
- three after wipes
By keeping the switch pressed, wiping
with simultaneous spraying will remain
activated.
All the wipers will work, even if these
have not been activated on the panel!
Status information
The LED above the speed or rain sensor
switch displays the status of the wiper
operating system:

controller unit (between

nals) shows the status of
the wiper controller:

Installation
Controller unit
Mount the controller unit as close as pos-

wiring to the motors can be short. Mount
the controller unit on a DIN rail TS35
(see p. 30)
The control panel
Place the panel somewhere the user can
easily operate it.Use the enclosed templa-
te to drill a whole in the instrument panel.
Connections
See the connection diagram on p.28.
Current
The controller unit is suitable for both 12
and 24 volts DC.
The current for which the wiper motors are
suitable must correspond to the onboard
current (12 or 24 V).
