  • Page 21 BERG Large Ride-ons 2.2.4 Steering The steering equipment must be checked every month for the following: • Damage and/or wear and tear to steering equipment. • All the nuts and bolts must be tightened. Check alignment of the smallest deflection of the left and the right wheel with the front bumper 1a and 1b.
  • Page 22 BERG Large Ride-ons To tension the rear chain: • Remove the protective hood and loose the nuts of the hub (step 1,2 and 3). • Tension the chain by moving the hub forward. Make sure that the hub remains exactly parallel to the rear axle (step 4 and 5).
  • Page 23 BERG Large Ride-ons 2.2.5.2 Crank adjustment (when running in a new product) After using the new product for several days (intensive use) or for up to two weeks (normal use) after purchase, the mounting bolts with which the left and right cranks are mounted must be tightened again (see illustration below).

  • Page 31 BERG Large Ride-ons 2.2.5.2 Crankstel (bij inrijden van een nieuwe skelter) Na een gebruiksperiode van enkele dagen (bij intensief gebruik) tot twee weken (bij normaal gebruik) na aankoop, dienen de bevestigings bouten waarmee de linker- en rechter cranks bevestigd zijn, nog eens te worden vastgedraaid (zie onderstaande afbeelding) om te voorkomen dat er speling en/of beschadigingen ontstaan.
  • Page 32 Remvrijloop (BFR) De remvrijloop werkt als een terugtraprem en heeft een vrijloopfunctie. U kunt met de remvrijloop ook achteruit rijden. De BERG skelter met een remvrijlop zal, minimaal elk half jaar gecontroleerd moeten worden op kettingspanning. Remvrijloop met 3 versnellingen (BFR-3) De versnellingen moeten elke drie maanden gesteld worden.

  • Page 37 BERG Large Ride-ons 2.2.4 Lenksystem Das Lenksystem muss monatlich auf die folgenden Aspekte hin überprüft werden: • Bruch, Verschleiß und Beschädigung; • Alle Schrauben und Muttern müssen festsitzen. Prüfen Sie den kleinsten Ausschlag des linken und rechten Rades im Verhältnis zur vorderen Stoßstange (1a/1b).
  • Page 38 BERG Large Ride-ons Gehen Sie zum Spannen der hinteren Kette wie folgt vor: • Die Schutzhaube abnehmen und die Muttern der Nabe lösen. • Die Kette spannen, indem die Nabe nach vorn gezogen wird. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Nabe exakt parallel zur Hinterachse ausgerichtet bleibt.

    Setzen Sie die Kunststoffkappen wieder auf die Kurbeln (Schritt 4). 2.2.5.3 Verschiedene Antriebstypen Bremsfreilauf (BFR) Der Bremsfreilauf fungiert als Rücktrittbremse und hat eine Freilauffunktion. Mit dem Bremsfreilauf ist auch die Rückwärtsfahrt möglich. Bei BERG-Pedal-Gokarts mit Bremsfreilauf muss mindestens halbjährlich die Kettenspannung geprüft werden.

    BERG Large Ride-ons Bremsfreilauf 3 Gang (BFR-3) Das Getriebe muss mindestens alle sechs Monate abgestimmt werden. Führen Sie hierzu die nachstehenden Schritte durch (siehe Abbildungen unten). Entfernen Sie die hintere Haube, um an einen kleinen schwarzen Kasten am Ende des Seilzugs zu gelangen (Schritt 1). Mit diesem Kasten kann die Seilzuglänge eingestellt werden.

Verificare la distanza minore della ruota sinistra e destra rispetto al paraurti anteriore (1a/1b). Allentare il perno del fuso dal lato della ruota con la distanza minore.
