On the elevator, mark the center of the rudder
surface. Then set the mark 1.5mm to the right (re-
ferring to the underside of the elevator, viewed in
the direction of flight). This is necessary so that the
control linkage does not touch the fuselage. Milling
a slot, matching the enclosed fiberglass rudder
horn, according to the staggered mark in the rud-
der. The pivot point in the rudder horn must later be
12mm from the hinge edge.

Use a cutter or small side cutter to remove the two
retaining tabs on the elevator servo for easier instal-
lation. Shrink the servo completely and sand it with
coarse sandpaper.
Check that the servos function correctly
before making any such changes! This can
possibly lead to a loss of warranty.

Sand the support surface in the fuselage well with
coarse sandpaper.

Use a Z-clamp to make the linkage as shown. Di-
stance between the two axes: approx. 105mm.

Lightly sand the rudder horn on both sides. Check
the correct diameter of the bore in the horn by
briefly attaching the enclosed linkage (diameter
1.6mm). This must be absolutely smooth and wit-
hout any clearance.
Stick the slot in the elevator around with adhesive
tape. Then add 5-minute epoxy into the slot and
glue the rudder horn. Remove the tape immedia-
tely afterwards.

Trim the servo horn as shown. Drill the hole to
1.6mm. The hole distance should be 5mm. Set the
servo to neutral position with a servo tester and
screw in the horn.

Use a 20cm servo extension cable and connect it
to the servo. We recommend the use of tape, heat
shrink tubing or a safety clip for securing.

Plug the linkage onto the servo horn. Thread the
servo cable through the fuselage. First insert the
linkage, then the servo into the servo housing.
