The Bassbreaker 007 is a versatile 7-watt amp that delivers big,
thick and crunching tone with terrific features and the sound of
pure tube greatness. Bassbreaker guitar amplifiers continue the
acclaimed lineage established by the great Fender Bassman® amp of
the late 1950s, taking classic Bassman design and "breaking" it with
features including unusual-for-Fender circuitry and components,
dark gray tweed covering, refined pointer knobs, and the early
Fender block-letter logo.
With its secret-agent name and distinctive style, the Bassbreaker
007 comes in head and combo models and features a single EL34
output tube for true class "A" operation, a 10" Celestion® Ten Thirty
speaker for tighter rock distortion (combo version), a treble-boost
switch for extra gain and harmonics, and a line output for easy com-
patibility with external recording and sound reinforcement equip-
ment. The Bassbreaker 007 head pairs neatly with the Bassbreaker
BB-112 speaker enclosure.
