Placement/removal
To place ReadySlide under the patient, lean the patient in the opposite
direction. Make use of the sheet to lean the patient. Push ReadySlide in
under the patient as far as possible (1). To remove, pull on the lower end of
ReadySlide(2).
Turning
Position ReadySlide, and then turn the patient by rolling him/her over on
one side or by pulling on the sheet. The patient slides easily on ReadySlide.
Remove ReadySlide.
Bed to gurney
Position ReadySlide, move the gurney up beside the bed.
Remember to lock the wheels. Push or pull the patient
over to the gurney.
Remove ReadySlide.
Higher up in bed
Place ReadySlide under the patient's shoulders. Ask the patient to bend the knees, lift the seat
and push up. Also works well with the assistance of a caregiver.
Remove ReadySlide.
Transfer bed/wheelchair/toilet
Lock the wheelchair wheels and place ReadySlide under the patient's seat so that it is both on the
bed and the wheelchair. Ask the patient to grasp the armrests and, using his or her own weight, slide
over into the wheelchair. Raise the feet from the floor with the aid of a foot stool to reduce friction
under the thighs. This transfer can also be performed by the caregiver with the aid of a care belt for
added safety. Remove ReadySlide after completing the transfer.
For transfers between wheelchair and toilet, place ReadySlide as described above. By shifting his/
her weight, the patients slides over to the toilet/wheelchair. Use a care belt if the patient requires the
assistance of a caregiver. A foot stool also facilitates the transfer. Remove ReadySlide after
completing the transfer.

Read the product label. If disinfection is needed 70 %
ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar should be used.
Do not use rinsing agent.
To prolong product life, avoid tumble-drying.
