When the tool is powered on, the Desoutter logo
is displayed and the LEDs are blinking.
● Wait for a few seconds while the software is
being initialized.
● Follow the steps in the chart below to display
the different menus and get used to the
buttons and icons.

When delivered, passwords are enabled (1 by
default). Passwords are used to protect the
Pset and Calibration settings against hazardous
changes. The red padlock is displayed on the
top line.
Your first action is to disable the Pset password
protection.

● Go to the "Configuration" menu and press OK
to display "Enter pwd." and press OK again to
display "Pset pwd".
● Press OK again. 0 is displayed in red.
● Press the right button to display 1 and press
OK to valid.
The password is wrong.
● Try again
The password is correct.
The padlock turns green and from now you are
allowed to change the Pset parameters.
Each time the battery pack is plugged
in, the tool is protected against changes
and the red padlock is displayed.
HOW TO CHANGE THE PSET
PARAMETERS
● Be sure that the Pset password is disabled.
The green padlock is displayed on the top
line.
● Go to the "Pset" menu and press OK.
● Roll the following parameters by
using the left and right buttons.
● Press OK to validate.
Parameter Description
Rundown Speed applied from start to
speed downshift torque to optimize
productivity.
Final Speed applied from downshift
speed torque to motor stop (to optimize
quality on very hard joint).
Downshift Torque where speed moves from
torque Rundown to Final speed.
Target Target torque

Angle Torque threshold value to start
threshold counting angle (usually 50% of the
target torque)
Min./max. Angle values which define the
angle min./max. angle tolerances.
