7. Getting started

7.1. Inserting the battery in the remote control

 As delivered, the battery is already inserted in
the remote control. To activate it, pull out the
insulating strip labelled "Please remove be-
fore use" on the underside of the remote con-
trol.

7.2. Changing the battery in the remote control

The remote control requires a 3 V coin battery, type CR 2025.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly.
 Do not throw the battery into a fire.
 Only replace batteries with the same type or an
equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
 Dispose of used batteries according to the manufac-
turer's specifications.
 Press on the catch and pull the battery compart-
ment out.
 Remove the flat battery and dispose of it at a
collection point for old batteries.
 Put the new type CR 2025 battery in the battery
compartment with the plus pole upwards. En-
sure that the polarity (+/-) is correct when in-
stalling the battery.
 Press the battery compartment in again, until it
clicks into place.

7.3. Setting up the CD compartment

 Press PUSH OPEN on the front of the CD compartment to open it.
 Remove the cardboard from the CD compartment.
 Close the CD compartment by gently pressing down the compartment lid.
