    7. Vorbereitung 7.1. Batterie in die Fernbedienung einlegen  Im Auslieferzustand ist die Batterie bereits in der Fernbedienung eingelegt. Ziehen Sie zum Aktivieren den Isolationsstreifen mit der Auf- schrift „Bitte vor Gebrauch entfernen“ an der Unterseite der Fernbedienung heraus. 7.2. Batterie der Fernbedienung wechseln Die Fernbedienung benötigt eine Knopfzellen-Batterie 3 V, CR2025.

Batteriebetrieb - Batterien in das Hauptgerät einlegen  Das Batteriefach befindet sich auf der Geräteunterseite.  Lösen Sie beide Arretierungen und nehmen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs ab.  Legen Sie sechs 1,5-V-Batterien, Größe R14/LR14/C (nicht mitgeliefert) so ein, dass der Minuspol an den Federn anliegt.

    7. Getting started 7.1. Inserting the battery in the remote control  As delivered, the battery is already inserted in the remote control. To activate it, pull out the insulating strip labelled "Please remove be- fore use" on the underside of the remote con- trol.

Battery operation – inserting the batteries into the main device  The battery compartment is located on the underneath of the device.  Release both latches and remove the battery compartment cover.  Insert six 1.5 V R14/LR14/C batteries (not supplied) with the negative ends on the springs.

    8. Connecting the headphones You will find a 3.5 mm headphone socket on the right-hand side of the device.  Insert headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug into the headphone socket. When headphones are connected the speakers are disabled. Volume adjustment is still possible to change the headphone volume.

    11. Switching on the device/standby  Press the button to switch on the device. The display lights up.  Press the button again to switch the device back into standby mode. The time will be displayed. If there is no playback for 15 minutes, the devices automatically switches to stand- by mode.

Sleep timer If you select the sleep timer function, the device switches off automatically after a defined period of time.  Press the SLEEP button once, or several times, to set the required time: 120 min- utes > 90 > 60 > 30 > 15 > 10 > 5 minutes. SLEEP appears on the display to indicate that the sleep timer is active.

Hoofdtelefoon aansluiten Aan de rechterkant van het apparaat bevindt zich een hoofdtelefoonaansluiting van 3,5 mm  Steek een hoofdtelefoon met een jackplug van 3,5 mm in de aansluiting voor de hoofdtelefoon. Als er een hoofdtelefoon is aangesloten, worden de luidsprekers uitgeschakeld. Wel kunt u met de volumeregeling het volume van de hoofdtelefoon regelen.

Extern afspeelapparaat aansluiten Op de LINE IN-aansluiting kunt u een extern afspeelapparaat aansluiten (zoals een cd-speler of een mp3-speler).  Schakel de cd-/mp3-/cassettespeler in de stand-bymodus.  Schakel het externe apparaat uit.  Steek het ene uiteinde van een kabel met 3,5 mm jackplug (niet meegeleverd) in de LINE IN-aansluiting aan de achterkant van de cd-/mp3-/cassettespeler.

Haal de netstekker uit het stopcontact en verwijder de batterijen uit het apparaat en uit de afstandsbediening.
