3.2 Filling the dip tank
The ideal water temperature range is between 10 °C and 25 °C, as the temperature influences the activation time of
the adhesive.
- Lower temperatures delay the activation of the adhesive coating = unnecessary waiting times.
- Higher temperatures reduce the time from wetting to hanging the fabric drops.

clips on the rear that are latched into the
front holding rod of the unwinding device.
A meter counter is a measuring tool. As such, great care must be taken when using it. Coarse dirt and debris, especially on the drive
shaft, can result in incorrect readings or even block the measuring wheels. Do not immerse the meter counter in water or any other
liquid.
Prior to starting the measurement, push the side lever up and fully backwards to reset the digits in the display window to zero. We
recommend pushing the lever again even if the display already shows „0". When starting the measurement, make sure that the right-
hand number wheel starts counting. If it doesn't move, stop the measurement and operate the lever again to reset the digits to zero.
Otherwise, the counting mechanism will wear out more quickly.
3.4 Threading the fabric or fleece roll into the unwinding device
The fabric or fleece roll is placed on the unwinding rollers. When drawn in correctly, the fabric or fleece material will run under the
front guide roller and the holding axle of the meter counter. The adhesive side (the inside of the roll) is facing upward! If required, set
the adjusting ring to the width of the fabric or fleece material.

check that the drain
plug is inserted firmly.
Put a bucket in place if
necessary, then fill the
dip tank with water.
Min. fill level: dip rollers must be fully
covered with water (= approx. 15 liters).
The analog meter counter
is not water-resistant!
Its attachment to the device
is designed in such a way
that it folds down into the dip tank when
the lid is closed. That is why you should
always drain the water before closing the
device lid or remove the analog meter
counter!
Turn roll backwards by
hand until the roll lies
between the two unwind-
ing rollers. If the roll is
now rotated in unwinding
direction, it will automatically thread
into the unwinding device.
3.5 Pulling the fabric or fleece into place through the dip tank
Thanks to the design of the dip tank, the fabric/fleece slides easily under the rollers. The device is equipped with a wiper system. To
thread in the fabric or fleece roll, the wiper blade is folded down (= transport position). With the help of the adjusting screws, the wiper
blade can be moved up or down, depending on how much water is to be applied to the adhesive on the back of the fabric.

blade upwards.
Thanks to the water wiping system, excess water is removed:
- the right amount of water is applied to fully activate the adhesive
- no water dripping on the floor

trimming edge at the front of the dip tank.
Only the last length is cut directly in front of the
meter counter.
„Last length":
To avoid waste, pull the last length 50 cm shorter through the device and cut before the water bath.
The wiper blade must have contact with the
fabric/fleece before starting work. Now the
adjusting screw can be used to make individual
settings. This can, for example, be helpful in
the following cases:
- extreme temperatures
- personal requirements
(e.g. difficulties in opening)
To correctly measure the
desired length, please
set the meter counter
back to zero after after
cutting each length.
