Connecting the trailer control module

9. Fasten the trailer control module to the component carrier (Fig. 3/1) in the right-hand corner of
the luggage trunk using a snap nut and a hexagon head bolt.
10. Push the black plug housing (16 wire) of the 10-wire cable harness into the provided position
at the trailer control module and lock it.
11. Push the black plug housing (12 wire) of the 12-wire cable harness into the provided position
at the trailer control module and lock it.
12. Fasten the brown wires at the vehicle' s ground point in the coupling area at the rear right-
hand side (Fig. 3/3) using the two eyelets.
13. Loosen the fastening bolt at the component carrier which fastens the vehicle' s rear control
unit 7L0 959 933A (Fig. 3/2) and carefully pull the component carrier out.
