Take your time and read the following instructions
and information completely. Please keep these
instructions in a safe place for future reference. If
you sell the device, please pass these operating
instructions on to the new owner.
1. Included in delivery:
• 1 digital roast thermometer
• 1 stainless steel probe
• 1 AAA battery
• 1 operating instructions
2. Safety Notes
• The product is intended for private, non-commer-
cial use only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and over-
heating, and only use it in a dry environment.
• Do not operate the product outside the power
limits given in the speci cations.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out
of the reach of children!
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it
if it becomes damaged.
Warning
• Do not put the thermometer housing in the
oven.
• The thermometer is not watertight.
• The stainless steel probe gets very hot.
Always use a potholder to remove it.
• Do not use the thermometer to measure the
temperature of the oven.

Warning – Batteries
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries)
that match the speci ed type.
• When inserting the batteries, make sure that
the polarity is correct ("+" and "-" markings).
Failure to do so could result in the batteries
leaking or exploding.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or
allow them to enter the environment. They
can contain toxic, environmentally unfriendly
heavy metals.
• Do not tamper with or damage/heat/
disassemble the batteries/rechargeable
batteries.
• Immediately remove and dispose of dead
batteries from the product.
• Do not short circuit the batteries/rechargeable
batteries and keep them away from uncoated
metal objects.
3. Getting Started:
• To insert/change the battery, open the battery
cover on the back of the device and insert an
AAA battery into the battery compartment with
the correct polarity.
• Close the battery compartment fully.
• After the battery has been changed, the tempera-
ture is displayed in °C.

3.1 Using the thermometer:

• Set the slide switch on the back of the thermome-
ter to COOK.
• Connect the probe to the thermometer.
• Insert the tip of the stainless steel probe into the
middle of the roast, making sure that it does not
come out the other side. No part of the stain less
steel probe may come into contact with open
ames.
• Press the °C/°F button to switch between the two
units of temperature..
• Press the arrow buttons to set the appropriate
target temperature.
