Cleaning the device (CLEAN)
NOTE
► Clean the device before each alcohol test to
make sure that there is no leftover alcohol in the
measuring chamber.
The cleaning process starts automatically when you switch
the device on.
u During the cleaning process, the display (1) shows a
countdown from 18 to 0 and READY (2) flashes on the
display until the device beeps twice.
u Press and hold down the BLOW button (7) for five
seconds until the device beeps.
u The measured value is now graphically displayed (3).
If "0.0" is displayed, there is no more leftover alcohol.
The self-test procedure is now complete and the device
is ready for use.
If, however, a different value or "HI" is displayed, switch off
the device and clean it again using the provided air blower
in order to remove the leftover alcohol.
After that, switch the device back on, and wait for a value of
"0.0" to be displayed.
