6.4 Faults/troubleshooting
Fault
The appliance is not working.
Safety thermostat has triggered.

6.5 Taking out of service

When the appliance is not being used:

Turn switch 1/0 (0).
Both pilot lights switch off.

Disconnect appliance from mains.

Clean the appliance (see Cleaning).
7 Maintenance/cleaning
DANGER!
Danger to life due to electric shock!

Prior to any maintenance work or cleaning, switch off power switch connected upstream.
7.1 Maintenance
Have the appliance serviced exclusively by qualified personnel. Only original spare
parts are to be used.
7.2 Cleaning

Clean the appliance daily.

Switch off the appliance before cleaning.

Remove residues floating on the oil.

Allow appliance to cool.

Empty container.

Filter the cold oil.

Do not use corrosive cleaning agents.

Clean container with hot water and cleaning agent.

Clean heating coils with hot water and cleaning agent.

Dry appliance with a soft and clean cloth.

Solution
Check whether power supply is correct.
Check whether control box is sitting on contact pins of
housing.
Check whether safety thermostat has triggered.
Call a specialist and report the fault.
