This Electrobrush complies with current safety requirements. Inap-
propriate use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage to
property.
To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the Electrobrush and
to the vacuum cleaner, please read these instructions and those of
the vacuum cleaner carefully before using for the first time. They
contain important information on safety, operation and mainten-
ance.
Keep these instructions in a safe place and ensure that new users
are familiar with the content. Pass them on to any future owner.
Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains supply
when you have finished using it, before changing over accessories,
as well as for maintenance work and cleaning. Switch the vacuum
cleaner off at the wall socket and unplug it.

Correct application


The Miele Electrobrush is a motor-driven accessory for use with
Miele vacuum cleaners only. It must not be used with vacuum clean-
ers produced by other manufacturers.

The Electrobrush must only be used for household purposes to
vacuum and brush dry floor surfaces. Do not use on people or anim-
als.
Any other use, modification or alteration to the Electrobrush is not
permitted.

The vacuum cleaner and Electrobrush can only be used by people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience or knowledge, if they are supervised whilst using them or
have been shown how to use them in a safe way and understand
and recognise the consequences of incorrect operation.
