Recessed Area and Closet Installation

IMPORTANT: The stacked washer/dryer can be installed in an
enclosure. Check the locations of the water supply faucets and
grounded electrical outlets.
If the water supply faucets, electrical outlets or power cord need
modification, have a qualified plumber or electrician make the
changes.
The following dimensions shown are for the minimum spacing
allowed.
Additional spacing should be considered for ease of
installation and servicing.
Additional clearances might be required for wall, door, and
floor moldings.
Additional spacing of 1" (2.5 cm) on all sides of the dryer is
recommended to reduce noise transfer.
For closet installation with a door, minimum ventilation
openings in the top and bottom of the door are required.
Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are
acceptable.

Use two or more people to move and install washer.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
1. Using 2 or more people, move washer as close as possible to
its final location.

Attach Stacking Brackets

Use two or more people to move and install dryer.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
1. Place 2 foam corner pieces on the floor.
2. Using 2 or more people, firmly grasp the body of the dryer and
gently lay it face down on the foam corner pieces.

3. Remove 2 screws from the bottom of the dryer and set aside.
4. Attach 2 brackets to the bottom (rear) of the dryer as shown,
using the two screws that were removed from the dryer.

5. Using a 24 mm wrench, turn all 4 dryer feet all the way up so
that the dryer feet are touching the underside of the dryer.
6. Lift dryer back up to upright position.
7. Using mild soap and water and a soft cloth, clean the top of
the washer to ensure that the dryer foot holders adhere
properly.
