This product is IP22 rated.
An electrical socket rated at IP22 is protected against:
• Solid objects over 12 mm - ex. insertion of fingers.
• Direct sprays of water up to 15° from the vertical - ex.
damage or unsafe due to vertically or nearly vertically dripping
water.
Safety instructions
1. Never place the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water containers.
2. The minimum distance allowed, for the appliance to be
installed is 0.6m from bathtubs and showers.
3. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4. The device must be installed in such a manner that contacts
and other control functions may not be touched at the same
time as you are taking a shower or bath.
5. If you feel unsure about installation, contact a certified
electrian.

area 3 = Unclassified area.

Electrical installation

This appliance must be installed in accordance with the
relevant wiring rules and regulations and in particular those
regulations which cover installation of appliances and
accessories in wet areas such as bathrooms, showers,
laundries and other areas with fixed water containers.
In accordance with local standards this appliance is required
to be connected to a power supply that includes an earthed
circuit.
